TICKLED PINK FOR YOU - FLORENCE THE FLAMINGO!

Hello, thanks for stopping by today....
This is a 6"x6" white card base with a layer of pink, white, and a final top panel of white

This stamp set comes with 3 stamps for the flamingo, as you can see on the package below. I used only  2 stamps for the body, using a 'pale tomato' ink pad (make unknown) then stamped it again with 'tattered rose' ink and finally 'spun sugar'.  I then re-stamped 'Florence' on spare card and fussy cut it to use as a mask, covered her with it so that I could colour the remainder of the card

'Tumbled glass' and 'broken china' inks were used for the water then using the 'ripple' stamp from the set I inked it with 'broken china' but inked it 3 times to give  me a more defined image on the water

Still keeping Florence masked I stamped the 'rushes' with 'bundled sage' distress ink

I added a mask for the sun then dusted  'tumbled glass' 'spiced marmalade' and 'worn lipstick' for the sky

The sentiment, which I love, was stamped with a 'Versafine' Clear Stamp Pad, then 'red regular' embossing powder sprinkled over, excess removed and heat set

I die cut a narrow frame, twice,  on white card, using dies 11 and 12 from the Tonic set, glued them together and adhered them to the finished image

I used the third stamp, inked with 'worn lipstick' to add to the bottom left of the envelope and used the same sentiment and colour to add to the back of the envelope
