CREPE PAPER FLOWERS AND KRAFT CARD

Hi, thank you for stopping by....

I created a top folding, 5"x7" white card base using the Matting Basics B Die Set

The other day I came across the white lattice background (now sorting my storage boxes in my craft room) and I'm not 100% sure but I think it's from the 'shadow box' die set by Sue Wilson.  It's this particular piece that inspired the card

I adhered it to a panel of kraft card then added white satin ribbon around the centre

The sentiment, was stamped onto white card, using an Adirondack Ink Pad in 'caramel',  and die cut, a second die cut was made, with the kraft card, as I wanted to create a shadow

I folded over the white crepe paper 4 times and die cut the flowers and added a coloured brad to the centres.  I scrunched the flowers and tweaked the petals which gave a lovely 'fluffy' peony affect

I also die cut the leaves, from the same flower die set, and two swirls from kraft card and coloured around the edges of the leaves.  I left the swirls in the die to add the same colour to them

To complete the sentiment, flowers, leaves and swirls were then adhered to the card
