PAPERCRAFT ESSENTIALS ISSUE 155

Hi, thank you for stopping by....

In this month's magazine the gift is a fairy die and a smaller die of 4 stars, there is also an A4 sheet of silver mirror card and, of course, the magazine is packed with gorgeous cards, competitions and plenty of tips

I did 'reverse die cutting' for today's card, the die is ideal for this technique

The paper is one from my stash, bought , approximately, several years ago, and I added a slightly larger panel of black card then adhered this to the white base card

Two fairies were die cut out of white cardstock and I used the back of one fairy to give me the 'reverse die cutting'

I made a paste with one Pixie Powder and painted the dresses and added a little glitter around the hem

A Chameleon Pen was used for the skin colour and I covered the wings with an adhesive then sprinkled Glitter Jewels over them

I also decided to give them a face by only adding the tip of a blue ink pen for the eye and a slight line of pale pink for the lips.  Originally I coloured the hair in a gold/yellow colour, changed my mind and added a brown colour and I think they look better with the darker locks.  I added mounting foam to the back of each image.... nearly forgot, the wands were painted silver

I positioned the fairies to look as if they were stepping/flying over the flowers which was ideal for the sentiment to be stamped between them and it looks as if they are pointing to the words and the silver stars floating above the sentiment

To complete I added bling to the centre of the flowers
