FILL YOUR DAYS.....

Hello bloggers....

Yesterday 'Littlelamb' was asking if anyone knew why she wasn't getting my notifications until after midnight, if you have any suggestions please go to yesterday's post and leave Brenda aka Littlelamb a suggestion or two, thank you

I'm kind of putting on hold my 'Technical Tuesday' for a while, just until health matters, hopefully, settle a little more, there will still be the odd video but not necessarily on specific days

Today's card has a mix of several elements, distress oxide inks, smooshing, vellum, stamping, die cutting and a flower to name but a few!

This is a DL card with a smaller white top panel.  Actually, it's one of the card pages from the baby album that I decided not to use again as I'd already created a page with this die cut

I halved this particular card then I added the distress inks onto my glass mat, spritzed them with water and moved the card over the colours.  I did this several times, blotting each application as well as adding a little more colour where needed, until I was happy with the end result

Once completely dry I made splatters (love a bit of splattering) using a blue acrylic paint then diluted white Gesso

I already had the vellum die cut and as I didn't want to use all of it I partly adhered it to the panel and cut the excess away

The tag was already die cut so all I needed to do was stamp a sentiment on it.  I added a little mounting foam to both ends and adhered to the card

To complete the card front I added pearls and a small rose then drew a wonky border using a gold pen

I added a smaller white panel on the inside, with a sentiment stamped on one then die cut a Tonic die twice and adhered them into place

INGREDIENTS:

  • Distress Oxide Inks/Cracked Pistachio, Spiced Marmalade & Wilted Violet ~ Ranger
  • everything else ~ Poppyfield Card Crafts
Until tomorrow....

  2. Beautiful June. Love your smoshing. Thank you. Thank you Jenny. Going to try what you suggested but must get some sleep now as need to be up at 5.30 and I am hopeless in the mornings. Always have been. Don’t think I will change now.
