Faux leather technique today.  The one showing below is on the video and you may remember the second one I made for the 'texture' challenge at MAWTT

The latest one is half the size of the original one and is so cute in the 'flesh'

  3. Loved the video June and especially loved this technique. It can be used for loads of ideas. Im now wondering how to incorporate this onto a next years diary. Off top of my head im thinking it may be better to 'back' the diary with the faux leather because of the spine.
My daughter will be starting her last year of a Uni course, in the next couple of weeks and, as she HAS to juggle family life with 1 x 12yr old & 1 x 13yr old and all their activities around her course she relies heavily on a diary. Im thinking this technique would make a fabulous personalised xmas gift for her. As ever, thank you for sharing all these fabulous techniques, but especially so for all the insperation you gi ve us.
Seeing a video for this is by far better than trying to merely explain HOW TO. I have a feeling i would never have been able to follow 'just words', SEEING how its done with the achieved effects is by far, for me atleast, MUCH better than following written instructions.
Once again, Thank you so much xxx
