FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS

Morning bloggers....

I have a heart shaped tag today.  Every so often I make something like this to hang in my craft room, they are also pretty to give as a gift too

I covered the MDF tag with white Gesso and left it to dry.  Once dry I used a stencil to add to two colours of texture paste in various places around the heart, it's now a tad difficult to see as I've used lots of other embellishments on it.....  I think I may have been carried away a little!

I also added quite a lot of 'Glamour Dust' to it but the camera hasn't picked that up, only on the body of the butterfly

You can see some of the glitter on the above photograph

Which brings me to this week's freebie....

FESTIVE FRIDAY 19 Plus 2 Freebies

Morning ladies....

Once again thank you so much for your kind wishes and comments, it is very touching and very appreciated

Second procedure completed and now it's just the wait to hear from the consultant.  I was told that if I haven't heard within 3-4 weeks to contact the consultant!  An old biddy could easily 'pop her clogs' by that time, and, I used to work at that same hospital, how times have changed.  I shall work on the theory that no news is good news :)

So onto today's freebie card, this very short video (3 mins) shows you what the inside of the card looks like.  I made it quite sometime ago and it's lovely to 'send' to someone special.  That said I may send it to Canada to my very dear aunt (who isn't the 'Auntie Millie' who comments on the blog, that lady isn't a relation of mine or my husbands)

Today's freebies....

As always, you have until 6pm Saturday to leave a comment and the winner will be announced on Sunday's blog

Until tomorrow....

TUESDAY TUTORIAL - Open Panel Card

Morning bloggers....

I hope you enjoyed the extended weekend and I'm sorry if you have had the dreadful weather we've been seeing on the news!  Here in the north east it has been lovely!

I really like the concept of the 'open panel card' and, really, you don't need to be exact with your measurements as the card size can be easily adapted

I hope you enjoy this short video....

Until tomorrow....

Just A Not To Say

Morning ladies....

I had this paper in my stash and thought it ideal for anyone musical, preferably one who plays the guitar of course.  I added it to silver mirror card and adhered a piece of narrow black ribbon.  I did use a ruler for the faux stitches, stamped the sentiment and die cut it, I also distressed the edge of the die cut with a little black soot and a blender

INGREDIENTS:

  • white pearlised card ~ Crafter's Companion
  • silver mirri and patterned paper ~ my stash
  • ribbon ~ my stash
  • sentiment ~ unknown
  • black soot ink pad ~ Ranger
Now for the winner of the stamp set....
