Hello & Welcome

A new challenge starts today at Crafty Cardmakers.  Glenda is our host and her theme is 'Halloween'.  I know in England we don't make a lot of Halloween as our friends across the pond do but I think it's becoming a little more popular here than it used to be?

So if you feel like making a card and entering it in our challenge the link  is:
#198 Spooky
Please remember our 15 challenge rule and why don't you pop over to the Crafty Cardmakers Blog to see what my DTs friends have made?

This is my contribution....
It was a quick card to make.  I cut a piece of 'ghost' paper at an angle and adhered to the card base.  I covered the remaining white area with a mix of stormy sky and black soot distress inks then die cut and embossed 4 graveyard shapes in black card.  I also distressed the skull with a grey ink pad and adhered a bat, that I just happened to have(!) onto its head!

  • White card ~ CraftUK
  • Ghost paper ~ my stash
  • Graveyard Scenes & Shapes ~ Spellbinders S4-279
  • Distress Inks ~ Ranger
  • Platinum Machine ~ Spellbinders
Onto Saturday's card winner and it is

Congratulations!  Your card will be posted this week

Until tomorrow....
