NEW 'MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES' (MAWTT) CHALLENGE - #59 CHRISTMAS ANIMALS
Hello and thanks for stopping by....
A new challenge for Team B starts today at 'Moving Along With The Times' Blog. Jenny is our lovely host and she's asked for 'Christmas Animals', and this is my contribution to the design team. When you have a few minutes why not pop over to see the rest of the team's wonderful designs?
#59 CHRISTMAS ANIMALS
I decided on a 'distressed' look card for my design and used a 6" square kraft card for my base
I distressed the edges on a smaller panel of Christmas sheet music using my scissors then, with a finger blending tool I added 'vintage photo' and 'black soot' distress ink all around it. This panel was adhered to the base card
On a piece of ivory card stock I stamped the row of buildings using a Stazon Jet Black Ink Pad. I added 'stormy sky' distress ink around the top of the image and 'black soot' distress ink. A very light spray of water was spritzed onto the 'sky'
For the bottom part of the scene I added a piece of double sided adhesive and a layer of 'snow'. This was not showing too well on the card so I added a layer of glue over the snow and sprinkled 'glitter jewels' on top of it
I used the pierced ovals die set to die cut the image and adhered it to the base card, I die cut a frame, twice, glued these together and added a little 'vintage photo' distress ink around the edge. I added mounting foam to the back and adhered over the image
The sentiment was stamped onto ivory card stock and more 'vintage photo' distress ink added to the edges plus a little 'glitter jewels' above 'Christmas'. I added mounting foam to the back and positioned it onto the card
I stamped a reindeer onto ivory card stock and 'fussy' cut it out, placed a small piece of mounting foam to the back of the body and adhered it to the frame
