Hello & Welcome

A little different Christmas card today

I used the same sentiment for the card front and inside for the verse.  The paper is from a 6x6" Christmas Paper Pad I've had for numerous years.  I stamped the verse using an Archival Ink Pad in 'Coffee'

I started with a 7" square, white card base and dusted most of the card with my anti-static container.  Using one of my 'old' leaf stamps I coloured part of it with a Spectrum Aqua pen in 'Evergreen' then the remainder in 'Sunset'.  I proceeded to do this until I had created a circle for the wreath  I then inked a smaller leaf stamp with 'Bud Green' and stamped around the wreath again filling in any gaps.  Once all the stamping was completed I used a mid purple coloured pencil and added a little extra colour to some of the leaves

A Clarity Stamp was used for the sentiment.  I stamped and embossed this with a Perfect Medium Clear Embossing Ink Pad, sprinkled 'Metallic Copper' embossing powder over it, removed the excess and heat set it with my heat gun

I used a ProMARKER Pen in 'Berry Red to add small red dots/berries on both the inside and outside of the wreath then decided I would do a little 'splatter' over the whole card and used a Pearlescent Liquid Acrylic Paint in 'Volcano Red'
I also added a little glitter to parts of a few leaves only but the camera isn't picking that up very well

Hello & Welcome
A lovely bright card for you today!

The base card is a 7" square and I added a piece of green paper to it as a mat.  The stripes in the paper are glittered

I had previously used several Pixie Powders onto white card stock., left it to dry overnight then cut it to sit behind the butterfly frame die

Next I die cut and embossed the butterfly frame and the inner cutting die onto milk coloured card then added adhesive to the frame and adhered to the pixie powder mat

I then used the inner cutting die again, with the two remaining dies, die cut and embossed them on milk coloured card, added mounting foam to the back of the inner frame and adhered to the card

The accompanying butterfly was also die cut and embossed on white card, glue applied over the top of it and Glitter Jewels sprinkled over it.  I gave it some shape prior to adhering it to the top right of the smaller frame.  I also glued 3 white  pearls to the spine of the butterfly

The mica in the Pixie Powders is gorgeous and I think you really have to see the card in your hand to appreciate how it looks and shines

For the insert I, again, used the rub-ons, I think I could become addicted to these LOL, and used a punch for the corners of the insert

Hello & Welcome
A 'fun' card today, ideal if you are considering entering any blog challenges and I would love to see 'my followers' cards being entered!
As you can see I added 'black soot' distress ink around the scalloped card edges.  I then added black card onto the base card and onto that part of a 12" square halloween paper.
I added Stickles in black to the eyes of the skull, and underneath the cobweb on the ?branch/flag (I don't actually know what it is LOL) and that completed the card!

Until tomorrow....

Hello & Welcome
Portuguese Collection - Sintra
Two pretty pink cards made from one piece of A4 glitter card.
The cards measure 10 x 13cm and are top folding.
The card on the right has an embossed heart (Spellbinders) adhered to the centre and the card on the left has an embossed 21 (Spellbinders) adhered to it

Using only the two filigree dies from the above set I die cut and embossed them onto white card
Not using the outer cutting edge die leaves a nice border on this gorgeous design
For the insert I used 'Rub-Ons' by Crafter's Companion (a first for me!)

A video is available on YouTube to view (I'm in the process of sorting a direct link to it but in the meantime you will need to put Poppyfield Card Crafts JF into the YouTube search bar

If you do pop over to watch it, it's a very short video, I would be grateful if you hit the subscribe button

Until tomorrow....

Hello & Welcome
Today's card is another one that is difficult to capture on a photograph
(why do I keep making them? LOL)
I used a pretty paper for the background and stamped the sentiment, and that's where the problem lies, on a kind of mottled.distressed gold paper.  I've had both papers in my stash forever and a day but the card, in the flesh, is very legible!   It is an 8" square, white card base with only one layer of the brown and gold patterned paper

stamped the sentiment (make unknown) onto the gold mottled paper, using a StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad and added mounting foam to the back of it prior to adhering to the card base

I used Cosmic Shimmer Glossy Black PVA to create the faux pearls and dotted these around the card

The more 'true' colour is shown on the top card!
Plain white paper is inserted for the winner to write their own verse/words

The above names were entered into Name Picker and it has chosen

Hello & Welcome....
A pretty white on white card for today's post.  White on white is one of my all time favourite combinations.
This is a DL card and I embossed a smaller panel and adhered it to the base

I purposely enlarged the card for you so that you would see all the glitter but if you click on the image again you will possibly get an even better look

I die cut 2 poinsettia dies 9 times, giving me 3 layers of petals per flower, covered each petal with a clear adhesive then sprinkled Glitter Jewels over them.  I then assembled the flowers with adhesive, added a pearl heart to each centre and put to one side

The trailing ivy was die cut and embossed onto white card that I'd covered with a piece of double side adhesive sheet, the backing paper removed and Glitter Jewels sprinkled over them.  I also adhered 3 flat back white pearls to the top left of the card

'Congratulations' was die cut 3 times, glued together and the top layer glittered
