Hi, thank you for stopping by....

Several photographs today and I'm not starting with the front of the card!

This first photo is the inside of the card.  Sentiment stamped onto gold paper then embossed
Of course, the obligatory stamped gold envelope
Close up of the embossing as it does not show at all well on the card when I photographed it

 My finger peeking in here!
The card is A5, ivory Centura Pearl, I added a border of double sided tape onto another piece of the same card and sprinkled gold glitter onto the tape then adhered it to the card base

Now you can see what I mean about the embossing not showing at all well when photographed!
On a smaller panel of same card I embossed it using a Crafter's Companion (I think!) embossing folder, adhered to the card and added 3 flat back cream pearls

  • Embossing folder ~ ?Crafter's Companion
  • Card stock ~ Centura Pearl Crafter's Companion
  • Flat back pearls ~ Creative Expressions
  • Sentiment ~ Clarity Stamps
  • Envelope sentiment ~ magazine freebie
  • StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad ~ Tsukineko
  • Die ~ Ice Crystal Frame/Amy Design
Until tomorrow....

Hi and thank you for stopping by....

For this DL card I used easy lift-off tape to blank the top and bottom part of the card to give me a centre border

I used a background stamp inked with a StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad and stamped the exposed area

The next stage was to dab Perfect Medium over the stamped area then add the Perfect Pearls.  From the set I chose to use 'madarin', 'mint' and 'cappuccino'

Once the colours had been blended I heat set that area, then removed the masking tape and stamped the sentiment using the same ink pad

The beautiful shimmer of the Perfect Pearls  can be seen on the above, and below, photos
I stamped the  Love Birds onto black card using the Perfect Medium and covered the area with a clear embossing powder  and heat set it
I added a little water onto the craft mat and picked up some of the mint colour, made a paste and applied the colour to the birds' bodies.  I did the same procedure for their faces using the mandarin colour,  and for the beaks, tails and the branch they are perched on I used biscotti from the same set
I fussy cut the love birds, added mounting foam to the back and adhered to the card

To complete I adhered this to a black base, that I think, enhances the design

  • white and black card DL size  ~ my stash
  • Floral Flourishes Background Stamp ~ JustRite DL-04430
  • StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad ~ Tsukineko
  • Perfect Pearls 'Cafe' ~ Ranger
  • Perfect Medium ~ Ranger
  • Clear Embossing Powder ~ WOW
  • Love Birds ~ Clarity No 80
  • Sentiment ~ Be Happy & Smile
Until tomorrow....

Hello there, thanks for stopping by....

A DL card for today's offering.  You may remember seeing this design previously as I made one in a black and gold theme?  I used a different die for the corner element

White DL card base with panels of gold card then red

Below is the insert and I embossed the flap of the envelope, using one of the long narrow freebie embossing folders, from a craft magazine
I used, what could be my favourite Woodware corner punch, on all four corners of the insert

Until tomorrow....

PS.... how are you all getting on with your Christmas cards?  All done?

Hi, thank you for stopping by....

I made this one first.  A 6" square card and added the embellishments to the card front once I had adhered the insert
The insert

Cut the insert to 10"x5" then fold in half

On the back of the insert mark with a pencil as shown above

Once the lines are drawn cut as shown then, with a bone tool, score to create a sharp crease

I used corner scissors on all 4 sides of the insert

Use a pen to score lines down each 'parcel' or any embellishment of your choice

The first card has gold ribbon on the packages

Now apply your choice of glue to one side of the insert and adhere in the card

Then apply the glue to the other  side and adhered in the card

I added MDF embellishment pieces  and some green ribbon

The sentiment was stamped and embossed with the metallic gold embossing powder by WOW

To complete I added Diamond Stickles to the tops of two stockings and Holly Stickles to the centre stocking

Until tomorrow....
