Hello, thank you for stopping by....

Today is our Saturday Special Give-Away Card, and throughout December,
right up to  Saturday 23 December,
we are giving a double bonus of 2 craft stamps with the freebie card!!

If you would like to give this card a new home (and the craft stamps)
all you need to do is leave a comment on today's post

The winner will be picked using Name/Number Picker

You have until 9.30am Monday morning to comment
and it is not a problem if you have previously won or where you live
 as we ship globally!

You did see this card a few days ago and the person who wins this should easily either remove the sentiment or place their own sentiment over the top of it

Thank you for your continued support and your patience this week, as well as the previous time, when I've been rather unwell.  Rheumatoid arthritis is such a debilitating disease, and, during flares so vicious, so I really, really appreciate you popping back

Thank you for your wonderful comments, from tomorrow until  31 December, I will post cards daily, then from
1 January 2018 will announce one or two changes to the blog

Have a wonderful Christmas my blog friends

Until tomorrow....

Hello, thanks for stopping by....

Today is the start of a new challenge at MAWTT, the theme is 'Anything But A Card' so I am showing one of my cakes

Apart from the photographs in the two frames, the flower spray and the 'diamonds' around the back of the shoe, everything else is edible

The 'shoe box' is a deep chocolate cake

Why not pop over to the MAWTT blog and see the fantastic items, from both teams (Team A and Team B)

Until tomorrow....

Hello, thank you for stopping by....

I lost my voice on Monday (some may say that's a blessing ;) LOL) and was unable to make the video for the Tuesday Tutorial, I now have a very croaky voice and a terrible cough and cold, no good at all for videoing purposes!

I was wanting to show you a new stamp called 'Dahlia Turnabout Stamp' by Concord & 9th, I love this stamp, they also have the matching die but I've not been able to use that yet

So here are a few of the cards I made using this stamp:

I like the effect when stamping 'off the card' as this one, above, is

So, my blog friends, these are a few of the cards made with the one stamp.  I will have a video showing the process but think it's best to wait until the new year now when, I hope, all bugs and germs have vanished!  What say you?

Until tomorrow....

Hello, thank you for stopping by....

Colourful Aster flowers for you today

Onto a DL card I cut a smaller panel in white card and embossed it, added mounting foam to the back and adhered to the card base

I die cut the flowers and leaves using white card stock then coloured the flower heads using Distress Oxide Inks, the stems and leaves were coloured using an aqua pen

I added a glue dot behind both flower heads, for dimension, and flat glued the stems onto the card.  I formed the leaves prior to gluing them to the card

I stamped the sentiment onto white card, fussy cut it and added the same two colours, used on the flower heads to the sides of the sentiment.  Mounting foam was added to this, again, for dimension

Must mention that I have an interesting card design and video for tomorrow's tutorial!
