Hello and welcome to my happy place....

I've not been well since the middle of last week so we're back to photographs (big thanks to hubby, who also did all the assembling etc etc)  for today's tutorial.... I've trained him well LOL

This is the original DL card with a smaller white panel then a smaller top panel of watercolour card.  Unfortunately the watercolour card isn't white

 Card nos 2

White DL card, smaller white panel then the watercolour card

On the watercolour card add the Distress Oxide in 'fossilized amber'

Then add a little 'peeled paint'

Dab 'worn lipstick' Distress Oxide onto your craft mat and add water.  Pick up the paint with a paintbrush and tap the colour onto your card using another paintbrush to give a splatter effect

Stamp the sentiment with a Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad

Sissel was adhered to the centre of the card and the flowers adhered over it

I used Alcohol Inks in pink, green and yellow, on a blending tool, to add a border to the inside of the card

Happy Birthday was again stamped with the onyx black ink pad and a little of the alcohol ink colours added to the envelope as well as the 'happy mail' stamp

Until tomorrow....

June x

  1. Looks good June, sorry you have not been too good, xxxc

  2. Nice card June, hope you're feeling better soon

  3. Another lovely card June. However, forgive my ignorance, what is "Sissel" please? Also, I HAVE to admit your husband certainly has been WELL trained. Many a bloke would simply refuse to be involved let alone assemble the card. Well Done to Junes husband xxx

  4. Thank you June for carrying on with help and sharing this with us. I love the finished card. Hope you feel better soon.

  5. Thank you ladies for the very kind comments

Pam.... sissel is the 'stringy' bits you can see behind the flowers
