Hi and welcome, thank you for stopping by....
Thank you once again for your very kind comments this week, I think I'm back to 'normal'.... that's normal for me!
A shabby chic Christmas card this week
I started with an ivory DL card and adhered an off-white piece of lace (Wild Orchard Crafts) down the left side
Another 3 decreasing panels of ivory card were cut and once the edges were distressed vintage photo distress ink, by Ranger, was applied to all the edges
The top panel was embossed using Creative Expressions e/f 'falling snow'
A small piece of the lace was adhered to the bottom half of the card as shown above
The smaller of the two Marianne die set (LR0270) was die cut 8 times on ivory card stock, then adhered together as two lots of four. These were then adhered point to point prior to adding to the card
Jute Twine (Creative Expressions) was used for a messy bow and Foamarin in ivory for the 3 flowers
Two barley (I think!) pieces (Wild Orchard Crafts) were added and a sentiment was typed onto ivory paper, double sided adhesive added over it then die cut using one of the tag sets by Tonic
The larger of the 2 dies was placed in the centre of the page on the insert, die cut and distressed around the edges
I wrote the sentiment using a brown ink pen
Leave me a comment on this post if you'd like to win the Chloe stamp
You have until 6pm Saturday and the winner will be announced on Sunday's post
Until then....
