I used a digi stamp for today's make and glued it onto a goldie/yellow card. I used an oval die to cut both the cupcake image and the card base
The black is the background as I thought it would make a better picture, but, when you scroll down you'll see the glitters show much better on a lighter background
I used numerous watercolour pencils to colour the cupcakes, a silver paint pen for the cake stand handle then covered each 'plate' with Glossy Accents to give the impression of the plates being glass
I added tiny gems for sprinkles as well as Glitter Jewels as well as using a little 'Wink Of Stella' over a few of the cupcakes
INGREDIENTS:
- cardstock ~ my stash
- digi stamp ~ justinKlined.com
- watercolour pencils ~ Derwent & Crafter's Companion
- silver paint pen ~ my stash
- Glossy Accents ~ Ranger
- Glitter Jewels ~ Creative Expressions (CE)
- oval die(s) ~ CE
Haven't used a Digi stamp in ages!! your post has prompted me!! Love these cupcakes - so useful for many occasions!! Mixing atercolour pencils with glossy accents certainly works!
