Still keeping with a sunshine colour, when our grandson was about 3 he would always say his favourite colour was orange, so I always think of him when I see anything orange (I think about him even when there isn't any orange colouring about too lol)
The pretty background paper is from my stash, I matted this onto black card then onto the orange base card
I randomly stamped images onto white card, placed the heart onto this, then drew a line around it and fussy cut it
It was then adhered to the heart, hubby punched the hole in it for me but before I added the organza ribbon I went around the edge of the heart with an orange ProMarker
The heart was then ready to be adhered to the card. I added glue to the edge of both smaller hearts and sprinkled orange glitter onto them
The sentiment was stamped to complete the card front, I used the sentiment from the Curly Corner Stamp Set by Creative Expressions/UMS007
The vibrant inside of the card had a panel of black card then a smaller panel of orange. When I come to send this to someone I will add another panel of white card to it
A really gorgeous card a bit shabby chic, xx
ReplyDeleteI don't use much orange - maybe I should give it more consideration!! A card with a 'shabby chic' touch today - like it!!!
