We have a pretty white and silver card today with a little scoring too
It's a 5"square scalloped card, top folding. I scored, on the inside of the card front, 4 lines horizontally and 4 vertically
The sentiment was embossed with Versafine Clear Ink Pad and WOW Silver Bells Embossing Powder then heat set
I added a full sheet of A4 double sided adhesive to an A4 white card and die cut several poinsettias in various sizes (large, medium, small - I didn't use the large on this small card)
Once die cut and the adhesive removed Glitter Jewels were added to each layer. The petals were then shaped and 4 medium size petals were adhered with 2 layers of the smallest die cuts on top finishing with a white, flat back pearl
I wish you could see how this particular embossing looks when heat set as it has so much sparkle. The sentiment was also embossed using the same 'ingredients' as above. I have one container left if anyone is interested, at £2 inc p&p
Last week's winner didn't claim the gift so I've added it again for this week's give - away
The draw closes at 6pm Saturday and the winner announced on Sunday's blog post. Leave a comment on this post if you'd like to be entered for the give-away
It's gorgeous June, I do love white on white cards and with the jewels it is lovely, xxxx
ReplyDeleteThat poinsettia just makes it - very pretty technique. Thank you June.
ReplyDeleteWhite on white always looks beautiful and then the sparkle makes it even more special xxx
ReplyDeleteHi June,
ReplyDeletewhat an excellent card I too love white on white cards.
Love the glitz on your super poinsettia.
I have had to change a couple of pages on the album as it was too thick and the pearls were marking the photos so I am making some passport type of things to cover them so they won't get damaged.
Oh my word I promised it to my Daughter tomorrow. LOL.
Not that she knows what it is.
Thank you for all your help with your videos.
Must try that glue you recommended.
I have used cosmic shimmer acrylic glue so far, but sometimes it dries too quick.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
This is a beautiful card June. Thank you for sharing this. Love the sparkle.
