Today's card is suitable for both male and female
Fold and score in half a sheet of A4 card to give you an A5 top folding base card, I've used a light cream cardstock
Cut a smaller panel of black card and adhere to the card base
Choose a paper you would like to use, (mine is from years back on one of our Canadian trips) and cut it slightly smaller than the black card
Using the leaf swirls dies, die cut the design on your paper (this die set is on the reduced list on Tuesday post)
Add mounting foam to the back and adhered onto the black card
Using the 'Darla butterfly die', die cut 2 butterflies (this is also on the reduced list) then add colour around the edges. I used a blending tool with 'black soot' already on it
To give your butterfly some shape, run a bone folder/pencil/paintbrush, under the wings
Adhere one butterfly onto the card then adhere the second butterfly but only add glue to the back part of the spine
Complete the front of your card with a sentiment and a few black flat gems to the butterfly's spine
Stamp a sentiment/verse in the centre of the inside of the card
I stamped the top left of the envelope front and the flap at the back of the envelope
