Morning bloggers....

Did you have rain yesterday!  We had a bit of a downpour last night, ideal for the gardens and wild life

I used a Sizzix stencil for the main part of today's card and 'wilted violet' distress ink applied over it

The decorated card was then added to a slightly larger purple cardstock and a silver ribbon wrapped around it

The base card was embossed then I adhered the main focal point onto the base

The sentiment was stamped onto the same purple cardstock and heat embossed with  WOW metallic silver embossing powder

I arranged the tiny purple flowers before I added them to the card.  If this was to be posted the flowers can be laid flat

I also ran my blending tool down both sides of the base card as it still had enough ink on it after applying it to the stencil

Until tomorrow....

June ~ x ~

  1. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. I love the embossing and of course the colour June lol

  2. No, June - the rain has missed us!!! That embossing folder looks lovely and the finished card is great.

  3. I think the embossing folder gives it just that bit edge. Another lovely card from a lovely lady who shares all her crafting secrets with us xxx

  4. Gorgeous card June and my favourite colour. Thank you.
