I was working with stencils a little while ago and had some of the 'zig zag' card left over so decided to use it and see what I could make. Because of the design I deliberately cut different widths of the black card, so that it wouldn't be uniform, even though doing this is totally out of my 'comfort/a little OCD zone' lol
The colours used on the stencil I used again on white card stock then die cut the 'HI' plus 2 more die cuts on black card and glued them together but leaving a little black shadow
The 'good luck' was stamped straight onto the card
- white and black card ~ my stash
- distress oxide inks in cracked pistachio, fossilized amber, worn lipstick ~ Ranger
- large letter dies ~ Xcut

ReplyDeleteLike this card June. Just the card I need for my granddaughter as she has an iceskating exam at 6am tomorrow. There are three parts to it so will finish at about 10.30. Thank you for sharing this a June.
ReplyDeleteI do hope your granddaughter was successful, what an early start too! I would gladly have sent this card to you had I known sooner Littlelamb :)
DeleteThank you June. I am pleased to say that yes she passed all three parts of the exam. She will now have a new routine and music. When she had her lesson yesterday afternoon she was already practising it.
