Good morning ladies....
I've had this blue and white card for quite sometime, unfortunately one only sheet of A4, as used on the above card. Blue is my number one favourite colour, and how I wished I did have another sheet after I'd stamped and embossed the scroll work at the bottom of the card, you live and learn! I should have used a grey ink but it's now done and I can't do anything about it
I folded half of the card front back, scored it and added the pale blue pearl brad. Stamped and embossed the design on the bottom of the card, then stamped a verse onto an oval die cut (out of my 'die cut shapes' box) and adhered it to the card inside
I also added one layer each of the smallest blue and pink flower, to the inside
I stamped a full A4 white cardstock using the 'Arianna Blooms' Flower & Die Set and die cut them. I used finger daubers and 'Rose Bud' & 'Danube Blue' inks to colour each layer of flowers. With one layer of the smallest die cut I shaped and moulded it into a bud, the other layers were shaped and adhered together, placing the bud onto the final layer
I used 'A Wink Of Stella' on each petal, then, squeezing a good size 'dollop' of wet glue into the bud centres, I added the stamens, one by one
Using the second largest die from the 'Arianna Lace' Die Set, I die cut 2 of these from white cardstock and glued the flowers onto them
These were then adhered to the card front
To complete I added NUVO Crystal Drops Gloss in 'Blue Babe' around the scroll on the front of the card

ReplyDeleteYet again, its those flowers. We could sit next to each other and i mirror imaging what you do and id bet my last penny that mine would look totally different - honest. Its ridiculous how, by following your steps, the end results are miles apart - WHY is this so :(
ReplyDeleteHowever, YOUR card and flowers ARE beautiful xxx
