Good Sunday morning blog friends
As the weather is now changing I thought this card to be rather appropriate
It's a DL card base with a smaller white top panel
I stamped the sentiment using an Archival ink pad in coffee
I covered another piece of white card with a double sided sticky sheet then added the gilding flakes in mulled wine (I think this is my favourite colour of them all) then used a piece of 'rubit scrubit' to burnish in the flakes
I used a leaf die set to die cut and emboss the leaves
When these were adhered to the card I only added the glue to certain parts of each leaf so that they would retain their shape from the embossing and getting them out of the die
I also used a blending tool to add colour on the edge of the panel
I adhered the panel onto a piece of cardboard that was just a little smaller than the panel. I've mentioned using cardboard this way before, as it is practically weightless and you can cover quite an area on the card back to ensure corners/sides don't bend or buckle
I used the same ink pad to stamp the sentiment, leaves and the branch
Then completed the card by adhering the panel to the base card and adding NUVO Crystal Drops in antique rose as well as stamping 3 leaves on the envelope
Now for the winner of the die set:
Your die set will be winging its way to you
