Good morning blog friends....

A green theme for this week's festive card

I coloured a small piece of white card with a distress oxide in 'lucky clover' then used a circular die to cut it.  I then stamped the trees and reindeer, using an onyx black ink pad, onto the coloured circle

I also made a mask for the trees so that I could give the impression they were behind each other

This was then adhered to the 6" card base and a silver ribbon string was also adhered to the 'bauble'

I die cut a circular frame 5 times, glued them together then coloured the top, sides and inside the ring before I adhered it over the image

A small green bow was attached and a silver star

The sentiment was also stamped using the same oxide ink

Larger circular dies were used to die cut the green card for the inside of the card and the next size down was used for the white card

I used another two stamps from the freebie stamp set by Sheena Douglass to stamp both sentiments

  6. Brilliant idea for a bauble. I love the way you masked the trees to give depth perception to your scene.
The tree stamp on the envelope is a lovely finishing touch.
