FILL YOUR DAYS
Morning blog friends....
Either this year, or last, I showed you how I made a Christmas card using non-traditional papers/colours, well, today's card is using a Christmas paper but it's not for Christmas. Another, I think, for the males, even with the swirly bits! But these could easily be removed
I do apologise for using cream and black card again, but actually it's peach coloured card by Creative Expressions and their black card!
This is a 5"x7" top folding card with a smaller panel of black card then the designer paper
When you take a good look at the design of the paper you can see stars on it although the whole design is subtle
The paper pad is by Craft Sensations and called Christmas Party, bought at The Range
Once the black card and paper were adhered to the card base I wrapped black jute (CE) around it three times and secured it at the back with tape and added the metal charm (make unknown but possible with CE or Ranger) as shown
I die cut one of the tags from Spellbinder's 'Fancy Tags Three' twice in the peach card and twice in the black. These were adhered to overlap to create a shadow and the sentiment (unknown make) was stamped using a black ink pad
The two die cuts were then glued together to form the shape as shown on the card
I added another panel of peach card to the inside of the card to conceal the twine
I scored the back of the card about half an inch from the top then added score pal tape to this so that I could adhere front and back card together
Whilst the card has a distinct yellow look in the flesh it is a delicate peach!
