TUESDAY TUTORIAL - How To Make This Pretty Gift Box/Storage Box

Morning blog friends....

As the video shows this really is an easy box to make and ideal as a gift as, depending on what papers you use to decorate the box, there can be a varied choice of contents

So make yourself a drink and, I hope, enjoy this video....

  1. Looks lovely June and will watch when I get home and gave a go, xxxx

  2. Great video again with all we need to know to make this. Thank you, June.

  3. Hi June,
I watched the video earlier before I had signed in.
What a clever litte box and it will sure have some wonderful uses.
Love the red one and the lovely paper used.
Thank you for sharing all your hints and tips.
I would make myself one, but I have no room to put it in my craft room as it's jammed packed with too much.
A couple of years ago there was a craft award going around and friends nominated people to carry it on it was quite late when I got nominated and most of my blog friends were already in or had done it.
I think it was called the Libster Award.
You had to nominate 2 other carfters to carry it on and say a little about how you came into crafting and that sort of thing and why you do certain things.
The other part was to take a photo of your craft room or where you craft after seeing mine a friend said it was health hazzard with all the crafting items I had on the floor and such.
Now normally I am a fairly tidy person but my craft room is a different thing. LOL.
You always seem very organised and tidy.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  4. Lovely box June. Will look at the video tomorrow now.

  5. Love the box and the video i can see it, as you said, having many uses.
I would like to make bigger boxes than this and the principle would remain the same. It will probably be necessary to join card at some point, ill find out, thats for sure. I have quite a bit of strongish A3 and also A2 and both would be great for this project.
Your video has explained and demonstrated how easy it is to make a box. The hard bit will be working out the sizes and also taking into account how much weight the finished box would hold without straining at the seams.
Yet again, youve made what seemed impossible, BE possible. Thank you June xxx
