Good morning bloggers and crafty friends....

I've brought out the flower soft for today's card, and a little red glitter!  The image is by Katy Sue Designs and I've added green flower soft (KSD) on and around the trailing ivy but also add a little red glitter too

I matted the image onto green mirri then onto two more different shades of green card

I also added the snowflake charm (Hobby House) as the more I looked at it the more I couldn't see Christmas card, it may have helped had I stamped 'Merry Christmas' onto the side of the card but I didn't have a stamp small enough to do that

You should be able to see how the red glitter sparkles on the photograph below

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and used pure white embossing powder by Hero Arts

The sentiment is by KaiserCraft and I bought from the online store namely The Ducks Doodahs.  Mrs D stocks John Next Door products and lots of other gorgeous goodies (I'm not sponsored by either Mrs D or John Lockwood)

To finish the card I stamped the small Christmas tree using a Distress Oxide Ink in 'lucky clover' and repeated this on the envelope

I love this sentiment

This week's freebie 'Flower Power' - there are 15 cute charms in this set

Leave me a comment on this post if you would like your name entered into the draw, you have until 6pm Saturday to do so and the winner will be announced on Sunday's blog

Until then....

  1. The lamp post is my all-time favourite Flower soft stamp! Stamp, a bit of distress ink and some flower soft gives the most amazing result! I'm not a huge fan of Mirri - but the green just lifts this image - perhaps I should get it back out - if only for Christmas! Am loving this sentiment stamp! Thanks June!

  2. What a lovely little cute card.
What makes your cards stand out from others, for me, are your 'finishing off' little touches, on this one the miniture xmas trees, really makes a difference.
Flower soft is another product ive heard of but, never used or "seen it" in the flesh - but one day i shall xxx

  3. Gorgeous card June, love the image and the snowflake charm, xx

  4. Lovely card, June. Love the insert too - finishes it perfectly.

  5. Lovely card and insert June. Thank you for sharing this and your ideas.
