WASHI TAPE & SPLATTERS!
Good morning crafters....
A very different one to show you today and not for everyone, but, oh so quick to make! LOL
I do love washi tape but I have a very limited supply, as the card proves, so if you have some in various widths that would make a huge difference to your card design
How easy to create too, different widths and lengths, cross-cross onto your card, add a sentiment, a frame too but not essential, and to top it all off splatters!
Altenew have a fabulous range of washi tape, it's really worth a look at their range and how their designers have used it in many different ways. The only problem I have, unfortunately, is with the shipping cost, far too expensive
I diluted a little black Gesso to make these splatters
The sentiment is by Heartfelt Creations and I stamped and embossed it then curved it with my bone folder and added glue to only the sides, this way if it has to be posted then, when the recipient takes it out of the envelope the curve will still be visible
Of course you could also used strips of patterned papers or card too
I added only two strips of washi tape to the envelope
Until tomorrow....
June

Hi June this is a stunning card I love how you have used the washi tape. I have lots and I don't use it very often. Have a great week. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteThank you Jackie. I think if the washi tape was in different widths you would have a better effect, need to put that on my 'list' lol
