Good morning bloggers and crafty friends....

Two of my nieces, who happen to be sisters, recently had their birthday.  Both birthdays are about  within a week or so of each other.  I always make them different cards but this year I didn't (purely down to my health reasons) and this is the card x 2

I added 'picked raspberry', distress oxide ink, to half of an 8"x8" card, fading the colour at the edge, top and bottom

I then stamped and embossed two different flowers (Stamps by Chloe) and used Tonic's white embossing powder

Two different stamp sets were used for the sentiment that was inked with another distress oxide ink and three different die sets were again used for the remaining flowers

Once in place and the card inside were complete I added glue in different areas on the flowers then covered them with glitter jewels.  This is the first time, I believe, I added the glitter this way and I won't be repeating it as I much prefer a more consistent coverage of the glitter so I will revert to my 'old' way in future LOL

Now for the card winner....
