A daily insight to my card designs, tutorials, videos and tips.
If somebody tells you that you have enough craft supplies and you don't need anymore... stop talking to them! You don't need that kind of negativity in your life!
Good morning ladies.... I have used the bird/robin from the stamp set in this month's Creative Stamping Issue 60 But, before I stamped the image I stamped the inside of the card with another two 'freebie' Christmas stamps, onto white card and heat embossed it with a WOW Embossing Powder in Cardinal Red The envelope was also stamped and heat embossed in the same manner
The bird was stamped onto white cardstock and also heat embossed. I used a Versafine Clear Ink Pad and Hero Arts Embossing Powder in white
I used Copic markers for the grey areas and ProMarkers for the 'red breast'
The top white panel was adhered to red cardstock leaving a narrow border at the top and sides
Before adhering these two panels onto the 6" square card base I added red twine, adhering it behind the red card, die cut the bird image, added mounting foam to the back then adhered it over the red twine and onto the card
The sentiment was also stamped and heat embossed and a few red gems were added to finish the card The same was applied to the envelope
Last week's stamp winner has kindly donated her win so these stamps are up for grabs again

Morning ladies.... I mentioned that the exploding christening card & box I made were for my brother and sister in law's grandson, Lewis. It was his christening yesterday and this is the card from my hubby and I. I thought I'd keep ours plain but this can be easily adapted for any other celebration
I added a panel onto an A5 card then cut a top panel and scored it from top to bottom The white lettering was die cut (Sizzix dies) 4 times and the blue two times, the blue gave it a lovely hint of a shadow and I added the white pearls in the shape of a cross
Lewis was a very good little boy throughout the day
Good Sunday morning.... This is the second commission I was asked to make for the silver wedding anniversary and I've chosen the envelope technique for, what I call, a 'mini' mini album as I have used only five 7" envelopes
The back of the album
I hope you enjoy the very short video, it's less than 3 minutes!
