Morning ladies....

For today's give-away card I've used dies by Spellbinders and Elizabeth Craft Designs, distress oxide background, splatters (I love a bit of splattering) and even used mirror card!

I have cut away the insides of the two framed die cuts and will be making a tutorial on how this all came together

If you would like your name entered into the give-away please leave me a comment on today's blog.  You have until 6pm Friday to do so and the winner will be announced on Saturday's blog post

We also ship internationally at our own expense

Until tomorrow, or may be a later today if I enough time to make the video!

Good morning....
A little while back I posted a card where the background was created using acrylic paints (as shown on the card below) and this video shows two ways of using the paints

I'm really out of my comfort zone getting messy but I do like the backgrounds that have been created and, I can easily wash my hands when I'm finished! LOL

You will see these backgrounds being used over the next few months and may be even longer as I've now made at least 24!

The card below is the original one I posted on 10 July

Add a frame and a background die to the acrylic painted background, a few flowers, sentiment and a few NUVO drops etc etc and look what can be achieved

For this card I used 3 stamps by Sheena Douglass, stamped them then added clear embossing powder to give shine and dimension

I do like the dramatic background from the selection of paints used

I hope you enjoy the video and, if you have acrylic paints, to also give this technique a try

Until tomorrow....

Hi everyone

This is the short video for today's CAS card

I hope you enjoy it!

June x

Morning bloggers....

An oval CAS card for today and a "hello" to Sandra who has hit the 'follow' button

I die cut the oval card from 300gsm white cardstock

The next step was too mask the card leaving enough space to stamp the image going from a narrow point to the largest area on the card

The image was stamped using a Memento ink pad in 'sweet plum'

Once that was completed I very carefully removed the masking tape then, using the same ink pad, stamped the sentiment

I used a plum coloured card for the inside (it looks darker than it is in 'the flesh' and the 3rd largest of the oval die set to die cut 2 pieces

Using the 4th die I die cut 2 pieces in white card

I used the single rose flower stamp to decorate the top panel but have left the other part for a verse for when I decide where the card is going

  • pierced oval die set - Creative Expressions
  • rose corner stamp set - Woodware
  • plum card - Poppyfield Card Crafts
  • platinum machine - Spellbinders
Until tomorrow....
