Good morning bloggers and my crafty friends....

Here is the video for how I made the faux flowers for my wreath.  I will show you the full wreath as soon as possible.  If you do make one I'd love to see a photo of it!

FESTIVE FRIDAY 43 - ANOTHER WREATH!!

Good morning bloggers and my crafty friends....

Today's make is one of several, indoor wreaths, I've made for our home

I've only noticed I didn't have it hung evenly!

The longest part was wrapping the grey wool around the polystyrene wreath, as, I'm sure, you can imagine and something I won't be repeating for quite a long time!

I used wired ribbon for the faux poinsettia flowers and added the black stick pins to the centre as I haven't red stick pins

The multi bow at the top is white, silky crush ribbon by Creative Expressions.  The ribbons for the flowers were bought several years ago from Costco

Today's give-away is a pretty tag die by Spellbinders

Leave me a comment if you'd like your name entered into the draw for this die.  You have until 6pm Saturday to do so and the winner will be announced on Sunday's blog

My row of followers has vanished!!  I've not touched anything either!  Switched on desk top and it's gone.... I'll have to call in the specialist (he's 18 and computer savvy)

Until tomorrow....

FAMILY TREE

Good morning bloggers and my crafty friends....

I think this is another card suitable for the male population, a 'happy birthday' sentiment, possibly bottom right, and you're set

I do love using this antique copper card, the top panel was embossed, I think a Creative Expressions e/f and all the other elements are from the one set of dies named 'Family Tree' also by Creative Expressions

WEDNESDAY WEEKLY CARD GIVE-AWAY

Good morning bloggers and my crafty friends....

I always like the combination of gold and red, as in today's give-away

A very festive combination

I have used textured card, I'm sure bought in Canada on one of our visits.  Spellbinders's Renaissance Die Set and Creative Expressions die for the sentiment

The sentiment was die cut 4 times and glued together

As you know by now, leave me a comment on this post by 6pm Friday when the winner will be drawn and announced on Saturday's blog

Until tomorrow....

TECHNIQUE TUESDAY - CHRISTMAS ANGEL

Good morning bloggers and crafty friends....

The embossed sentiment is by WOW and would you believe it's 'metallic platinum'?  Perfect match for the pearlised grey card, it's a pity it looks gold on here!

I'm sorry the video is long, BUT, if you click on the settings, bottom right and 4 along, you can speed it up.  It's longer than it should be because I was struggling putting the card together because I'm having an RA flare, especially in my hands

A big thank you to my hubby, who, without his help of cutting, scoring etc for me this video/card would not have been possible today

Until tomorrow....

SHOWCASE ON A FACEBOOK FOLLOWER'S CARD

Good morning bloggers and my crafty friends....

I had this card sent to me by one of my Facebook followers for Poppyfield Card Crafts, a lovely lady named Evelyn

Evelyn has hand drawn the flowers then painted them with oils.  Such a talented lady

You're very welcome to send me one of your makes and I will share it on here

I am going to create a special page for these too, starting with Littlelamb's fabulous mini album and Evelyn's card

Until tomorrow....  I have a gorgeous tutorial for you

FUN CARD & E/F WINNER

Good morning bloggers and crafty friends....

As most of you know our grandson now lives in the south of England and, sadly and unfortunately, we rarely get to see him, it's heartbreaking for us but we do speak to him on a weekly basis, bearing in mind a 10 year old boy doesn't really want to chat to grandma and granda too long these days.  I also send him the odd card and/or photo.  One of my Christmas presents last year was a calendar with a photo of Max for each month, I love it and especially the one you'll see inside the card.  He was hoping he'd get the 'Pie Face' game, which he did, (one of the presents from us) naturally we all had to play and we all were covered in cream....  I do not like cream, what you do for your grandson LOL

I thought it a good opportunity to add the photo to the card for him as the sentiment is so very true.  I see his cute face every day when I go into my craft room

The 'Remember When' die cut is from Tonic's Craft Kit 15, the cardstock is Creative Expressions and the fancy tags are Spellbinders

Now onto the e/f winner:
