SENDING HAPPINESS YOUR WAY

Good morning everyone and a very happy new year to you and yours.  I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I would like to thank you for the beautiful Christmas cards you sent me, so very kind to remember me

For today's give-away card the main focal point is using the 3D Embossing folder, designed by Sue Wilson and named 'Natalie's Poinsettias'.  The e/f does all the work, the detail is stunning.  I added little black dots to some of the raised areas as well as adding 8mm black gems to the centre of all 4 flowers.  I used a NUVO Glitter Marker in Strawberry Bonbon to colour the petals

The sentiment is from  the Clear Stamp Set, again by Creative Expressions, named Big Ideas/CEC883.  I love this stamp set, it has 5 large words and 32 small words that you can mix and match, well worth a purchase

The next time I use this folder I will use white card and a littler letter pressing technique

Leave me a comment on today's post if you would like your name to be entered into the draw, you have until 6pm Friday to do so

Random.Name Picker or Random.Number Picker will choose the winner and it will be announced on Saturday's blog

Until tomorrow and another year of craftiness....

June

  1. Welcome back June! I hope you feel rested, and ready for 2019!! I love embossing folders - the hardest part of the card is often completed by a machine!!! Adding detail is the fun bit!! Love the colour of the card you have used - goes beautifully with the small amount of black used! (must add - the folder looks nothing like Poinsettias!!!)
