ADDING THAT EXTRA SMALL DETAIL

Good morning everyone....

I hope yesterday was a lovely sunny day for you.  It certainly was in the north east!

On Monday I posted this card and kept looking at it when I was in my craft room as I thought it really could do with a little something to lift the poppies

I added Glossy Accents/Ranger to the flower heads and that made such a difference to the richness of the flowers and the card, in my opinion, looks far more inviting than the one above

I also added a few drops of the Glossy Accents to the leaves

Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, you can't see the shine on the full card, unlike the two above.... grrr!

So when you are making your special card and you think it may need a little 'extra boost' try Glossy Accents or whatever you may have in your stash!

Until tomorrow....

  1. So pretty June.
We have rain, rain and more rain, such a shame for people who have come to Spain for Easter holidays, they would have been better staying in UK, xxx

  5. Hi June I love how you have changed this card. I put my cards on a shelf and sometimes I think of changes I can make to them. Happy Easter. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  6. This really is a special card as I too love poppies. I've got to admit the close up photos, showing the use of the glossy accents, really does make a huge difference.
It's also rewarding to know that I'm not alone in completing a card only to feel it 'missing something'. I generally stand mine in plain view when I'm going from one room to another and in most cases something jumps into my head which 'makes THAT difference. Sadly, I do have cards, in which inspiration still escapes me so, they get stuck in a box and forgotten about ☹
