Good morning each and everyone....
I hope you had a good weekend
I was sent a stamp set and a few dies from the website I Love Art, their prices are unbelievable, you just have to bide your time for the postman to deliver your goodies. That said I think the post from China is possible improving!
I decided I would use the stamp for today's card. It stamps really well and is a good size too
I started with a 5"x7" white card base and cut a smaller panel of white card. I scored lines on this piece every half inch and used a corner punch on all four corners
Using a blending tool I distressed the edges using 'picked raspberry' D/O then adhered it to the card
Using white watercolour card a second panel was cut to approx 4"x5" and I stamped the image with 'antique linen' D/O as well as giving it a quick blast of heat
I used a combination of distress oxide to colour the flowers, leaves and the circles then re-stamped the smaller two flowers and spare watercolour card and coloured those too. These were then fussy cut, shaped and adhered to the centre of the two smaller flowers
I used the same punch on all four corners and distressed the edges. Mounting foam was added to the back prior to adhering to the card front
I added the sentiment (it's been in my stash for a while) and the insert but used a Martha Stewart punch along to two edges first
I completed the card by brushing a little gold sparkle to the flower petals and adding black gems to the centre of the flowers and a small black dot to the centre of the circles
TIP: when you add an extra layer of petals always ensure you have coloured the back of the flower as it looks much nicer this way as opposed to plain white card
