Good morning blog friends....
I've mentioned previously how I love this particular stamp (unnamed) so I decided to make a small card using the stamp and a few embellishments
The card base is 13.5cm x 10.5cm and I stamped directly onto the card using a NUVO hybrid ink pad. I didn't quite stamp a few places but liked how it looked and decided to leave it that way
Where it's coloured on the butterfly, when stamped, it leaves a blank space, I wanted a little colour there and used a watercolour pencil to fill that space, still leaving spots of white
The two wooden embellishments seemed to be ideal to use and they were adhered to the card with wet glue
I love this sentiment! It's part of a huge set by Tim Holtz, there are 218 of these funny, a little cheeky and sometimes, sarcastic comments and I don't think there's one I don't like. I added a small white border to the sticker, curved it using my bone folder, only glued both ends then attached it to the card base
As I had a blank space on the right of the card (I should have cut that away) I added the black 'HI' to it. I will make this again but omit the 'HI'
INGREDIENTS:
- white card base - my stash
- stamp - unknown
- acorn brown hybrid ink pad - Tonic
- watercolour pencil #075 - Spectrum noir
- wooden elements - The Range
- sentiment - 'Small Talk' Tim Holtz TH93704
Until tomorrow....

ReplyDeleteAm loving this stamp!! Beautiful card again June!
ReplyDeleteHave emailed you!
The card is great - but I agree with you about not having the HI on it. The main stamp and Tim Holtz saying are just right together. Thank you June - hope you are feeling a bit better. Roll on finishing the TB medication.
ReplyDeletefantastic card June

It is a nice unusual stamp. It makes a good 'man' card in my opinion xxx
