Most of the items are crying out for mini albums and I'm so looking forward to using them
An insight to my card designs, tutorials, videos and tips. If somebody tells you that you have enough craft supplies and you don't need anymore... stop talking to them! You don't need that kind of negativity in your life!

HOBBYCRAFT MINI CRAFT HAUL
Good morning blog friends....
I was so pleased with my small craft haul from Hobbycraft, not forgetting the Heidi Swapp packet of ephemera from Amazon

Hi June thank you for showing us your new stash. I have the magazine the dies are fabulous. I have already used them. Enjoy the rest of the week. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of new crafty goodies you have, June. I'm sure you'll have fun using them. I especially love the Sparkle and Shine pad - so many beautiful papers. xx
ReplyDeleteLove the painted flowers pad!! It's really satisfying when you are able to pick up some 'goodies' - very often I wander and find little to buy!!! Will wait now for your creations!!
ReplyDeleteLove the craft goodies fr Hobby craft, I was in there a few weeks ago, on my way back from hospital, and bought some 12 x 12 pads as a certain person I know makes some beautiful items with this size.
ReplyDeleteI went in there primarily to find a balloon, of all things, for my daughter's 'After Graduation gathering' for when kids get home really, so they don't feel left out of it.
I was unable to find one and when I asked was sent along the road to Card Factory. They too stocked nothing for Graduation??? I returned to Hobby craft and ended up buying my original choice (aft Grad) and bought a string of letters saying merely 'Congrats'. To say i was disappointed was an understatement but i am not able to wander around all the stores in Newcastle to locate what I was wanting. However, the staff in Hobby craft at Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead were all so very helpful and kind. After all, she did not need to suggest going to Card Factory, which I didn't know was there, and could have made the sale straight away.
I do like a mooch around H/craft but, unless I need something specific, i feel you need to watch the prices as at times they can be a tadd high.
Going back to the 12 x 12 paper pads, I am unsure of the gsm of the 2 x pads I bought but, I do know that when I used one sheet, I made a mental note of just how thick it felt - in fact, my Grand Calubur groaned at the seams, when i die cut from it.
