Good morning blog friends....

I started with an 8" square, white card base, then added a panel of white card followed by a die cut panel of white card, then pink

On top of the pink card I added another white panel then topped it with a smaller, pretty pink paper

I cut a smaller square of white card and embossed it, added mounting foam to the back and placed it centre on the card

The same pink card was used on the 'round' final die cut and pearls added around the centre portion

I made a bow from white silky crush ribbon, attached that to the card, the swirls were already in my stash box, as were the two flowers.  I added a pearl to the centre of each

To complete the card I used NUVO matt drops to each of the corners

TIP: If I were adding a sentiment to the card front I would be tempted to use a narrow flag type and tuck one end behind the centre of the die cut

  • pink card - Crafter's Companion
  • flowery paper - unknown
  • main 'circle' die - unknown
  • die cut squares, swirls, flowers, pearls and silky crush ribbon - Creative Expressions
  • NUVO Crystal Drops/Bubblegum Blush - Tonic

  7. This is just lovely...most definitely pretty in pink! I love the swirls and sheer bow, and those Nuvo drops are a wonderful touch. In fact, I thought they were colored pink brads in the corners, because they are so perfectly formed.
