YAY VIDEO FOR THE NAIL POLISH TECHNIQUE & CARD GIVE-AWAY!

Good morning blog friends....

Well, in a fashion, I did eventually get there with the video, unfortunately it's upside down!  I wish I could record hysterical laughter here

It's only the beginning of the video that looks a little funny, when I'm dipping the cardstock into the mixture it's quite presentable, that's my story and I'm sticking to it

Hubby and I have a busy week ahead and it could, possibly, go into the middle of next week.  As it is, yesterday we were out most of the day attending medical appointments, this time for Steve!  Which brings me to the give-away card.  I do try to schedule and/or have cards ready but I've not been able to finish the one planned for today, hence I'm using one from a few weeks back and here it is

The flowers are embossed on this one and there is an insert with a sweet verse.  I also stamped the envelope, so a complete package

The stamp is from the online store InLoveArt, I will post the link on tomorrow's blog.  The cost of the stamp is so cheap!  Their posting is very quick considering it comes from China!

As always if you would like to give this card a new home please comment on this post by 6pm Friday.  We use Random.Name Picker to choose a winner therefore it doesn't matter if you have won previously

We also ship internationally at our own expense

Until tomorrow....

  1. Really like the 'cleanliness' of this card - it is beautiful! Lots of stamps or die silhouettes could be used to achieve similar I am sure!
Hope all goes OK this week for both of you - Take Care!

  5. Love the technique, this was part of my course when becoming a nail technician so, i am well practised in this. It was harder to do when all you had to dip was a client's nail.
Another idea, which we had to master, was to drip the polish in the centre of the water, the 2nd and subsequent colours directly on top. This would then 'expand' the size of the original drip - circle/splodge. Then, when you have enough colours using a cocktail stick, drag the stick from the centre outwards. A spiders web effect can easily be achieved this way as can many other 'contrived' shapes.
The dipping of the cardstock is exactly the same as in June's video.
Just thought I'd mention this slight tweak as it also produces beautiful backgrounds.
And for ONCE I can do this lol xxx
