Good morning blog friends....
I hope you all have had a good weekend and the weather was good for you
For today's card I used an 8" square ivory card base and made smaller panels of black and ivory
I then added the pretty paper that reminds me of lace and distress the edges a little
The frame was a little challenge in that I die cut it 6 times in ivory card and once with black card. I need height to the frame but due to the design I was unable to add any mounting foam! I do like the die. I added the black card under the top layer to give a shadow effect as well as distressing all the edges
The tag is from the same die set, die cut in black, again for a shadow effect then ivory
The orange flowers are from the first Crafter's Companion Monthly Kit (I haven't bought further since) the other roses and leaves from my stash
I will be decorating the inside of the card once I decide where it's going

This is gorgeous, but wow...cutting the frame 6 times must have been a real chore! I can see that you can't use foam tape on this openwork design though.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card June. In those colours it could even be a C card!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card June, just my cuppa, xxx
