Good morning craft friends....
We were at a relation's 21st birthday party last night and this is the card I made for her
It's a 5"x7" white card and the gorgeous paper is from a 12"x12" paper pad. I cut the paper to cover the card front then made a cut of 2" high from the centre of the paper
I covered paper with a piece of double sided adhesive sheet and sprinkled glitter jewels over it
You can see the lovely glitter on the right
The cut area was turned back and burnished well. Foam pads were glued in place underneath the fold backs
I fussy cut a butterfly, added pearl gems to the centre of it and brushed some aqua shimmer over the wings. That's not showing well on the photograph
The 21 was die cut 3 times and glued together onto the card and alphabet letters adhered underneath it
Apologies as I wrote inside the card before I took the photo!
I die cut the centre from the same paper pad, adhered it to the card them embossed the verse
The centre panel, from the die set, was adhered to the opposite page and I used the tiny envelope to add the money gift for Rebecca
Adding the glitter to the whole of the paper made such a difference to the overall look. I thought it was more appropriate for a young lady celebrating her 21st
