A NEW WINE
Good morning crafty friends....
The image and the words underneath it, on today's card was printed, on one sheet of A4 paper, many moons ago. I would come across once in a while and think that I would make a card using the image as I liked it so much
I had read the first line on the wording but never beyond that until a few days ago when, once again, I 'found' it. Determined to read the words and make a card really made me smile. So please read it all and you will see what I mean
I opened my purple 'scrap card' box and found the scalloped pearlised card, just sitting there waiting to be used
That formed the smaller panel on my A5 white card base then I cut to size the image and wording and matted these onto white and purple card stock (from the same scrap box)
I also had a little piece of silver washi tape adhered to the end of my work table and used that too. You can see only a small border of it in between the toppers
I was now 'on a roll' and with the two remaining pieces of purple scalloped card I added those to the inside
I will stamp an image on the left of the inside of the card and a verse on the right
So, the moral of today's card is when you see something in a magazine etc etc that you like and think it would make a nice card, cut it out and make a card!
This is today's freebie:
You can purchase the matching die set to go with this but you do have an excellent result when you stamp the bow and it's so easy to fussy cut the pieces
Leave me a comment if you would like your name added to the draw. You have until 6pm Saturday to do this
We use Random.Name Picker to choose a winner, therefore, it doesn't matter if you have won previously
We also ship, at our own expense, internationally
Until tomorrow....
June x
