LET LOVE GROW
Good morning crafty friends....
The remaining card from the oval sentiment was used on the inside of the card and the very last piece of this card I die cut three butterflies, using one of the card front and two on the envelope
A little decoupage today! On a spur of the moment I bought Tattered Lace's monthly magazine. The freebie lily die looked very interesting. Unfortunately once die cut I'm not greatly impressed, but, to be fair, it is die cut onto white card (as I always do with a new die or stamp) and whilst I've looked at it several times and done absolutely nothing about it, I'm currently wishing I'd not bothered! The papers included are so very pretty and I fussy cut the lily one and decoupaged it as well as adding a little gold aqua shimmer to the petals. I don't think it shows too well on here though
I used a 6" square white card base, the one that is scalloped all around, but I removed the sides on this one to give me a 5"sq card
I used a sparkled green card as a smaller panel, don't you feel good when you use card/paper from your left over pieces even though it doesn't make a slight impression in the box haha
When I adhered the flower spray I made another two die cuts for the sentiment as well as adding three 'prickly pear' coloured sequins

Such a beautiful card June. I've just had a look at the die and I think I'd struggle with it too. I have a single lily die from TL that I won in a card challenge and I find that really useful. I've used it many times using lots of different colours. I tend not to buy TL products as I find them to be very expensive. Have a great weekend x
ReplyDeleteLove the lilies June! Like you - not impressed with TL lily die - much prefer the Heartfelt Sunrise Lily.
ReplyDeleteBut - your card is very pretty, and I just love fussy cutting!
Just letting you know - my card & Sues stamp arrived safely - Thank you very much!
Beautiful lilies on your card.
ReplyDeleteThat embossingfolder is beautiful too.

ReplyDeleteHello June and thank you so much for the stamp I won from you - arrived safely !!! Looking forward to using it. Thank you too for the chance to win this embossing folder - it looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi June,
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful decoupaged flowers and a wonderful card.
Love how you are creating your insides and envelopes.
the card shape is quite unusual.
Thank you so much for the chance to win the embossing folder.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
I'm not a fan of TL dies but your card is very pretty, love the colours
ReplyDeleteA really pretty card, June, lovely design. My pile of leftover card and paper never seem to get any smaller, however much I use! xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card June. I am also not a lover of TL. Haven’t bought any for a long time. Lovely embossing folder.
ReplyDeleteThe lily decoupage is so pretty and yay for you in using up the leftover bits of cardstock as well. I always feel so proud of myself when I do that, lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any Tattered Lace dies so I went over to see what the free die looked like. I'm sure that when you add color and layering, it will look beautiful. This card with the lily paper really came together beautifully. What a bonus that you are able to use the positive and negative oval dies for the front and card inside too.
ReplyDeleteI think your card is beautiful with the insert making so special.
