Good morning crafty friends

Once again I thank you for your kind messages.  Not having rheumatoid medication for 6 months has really taken it out of me, plus, pain from the beastly gall stones, what a to do!

First Christmas card of the year and a friend happened to tell me about a site named 'Instant Card Making Downloads' so I took a look and the pink poinsettia took my eye.  The background papers and colours are so delicate and all for, I think, £1.20!  Obviously I'm ignoring the cost of printer ink and the time fussy cutting the flower.  I can honestly say I really like this card!

Ignore my watermark on the above and below, it should not be there as it's not my design etc etc

All I had to do was make a 7" square white card base, cut the papers to size and fussy cut the flower.  I added glitter to the edges of each petal, shaped them then added white stamens

Until tomorrow....

June x

  2. Oh June - guessed you were struggling - but hopefully a few days 'off' has helped you (I really hope so anyway!)
Am loving the colours of this card - so different - will have to go and investigate this site - always up for new ideas!!
    Thanks for sharing!

  3. This is beautiful June. Good to have you back. Guessed you weren’t feeling good. Hope you are feeling better now. Take care.

  4. Hi June this is a stunning card. I love it. I will have to check that site out. I am so sorry that you are feeling poorly. I hope you feel better soon. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  5. Hi June,
nice to see you back with this very pretty Christmas card.
Love the sparkly poinsettia it's gorgeous, and the verse inside is very lovely.
I have an Epsom printer with ink tanks on the side which is very economical on inks you buy them in large bottles at the fraction of the price of cartridges.
Have saved myself lots of pounds.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  6. the poinsettia is gorgeous June and a very elegant card

  7. So pleased to see you back, it must have been a horrible time for you.
It's always good to see new sites and ideas so I thank you June for sharing this and I hope the pain stays bearable.

  8. A very pretty and sparkly Christmas card, I have several of their downloads, always handy when wanting to make a quick card with most of the designing done for you.
