HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND FRIDAY FREEBIE

Good morning crafty friends

I'm so pleased how this card turn out as it took me (with hubby's help) quite sometime to put it all together!

It's a 7" square card base with smaller panels of wisteria and white cardstock and the final piece of the really pretty paper

Lilac ribbon was added behind the patterned paper.
TIP:  because I only wanted the ribbon to show a little on both side of the card I cut 2 small pieces, about 1" long,  and glued them into place

I used the outer piece of a die set for the filigree oval

I made the fluffy flower from tissue paper.  It has small dots of sequins scattered on the tissue paper then added a small bunch of stamens

The sentiment is on foam pads for dimension

I used the papers from the same paper pad for the inside of the card, both the exact colour! The top one is the truer shade

I stamped both papers using a VersaFine CLAIR ink pad in 'Fallen Leaves'.  It had two layers of ink applied then I covered it with white embossing powder and heat set it followed by restamping it with one layer of 'Fallen Leaves' and I'm delighted the affect it gives, as if it was a shadow but stamped with ink

I repeated this on the opposite piece of paper and added a few, very small, silver stars around both sentiments

I have another floral bow stamp for this week's freebie.  There is a coordinating die that you can purchase separately but, as I've mentioned previously, once stamped it is easy to fussy cut the bow out

If you'd like your name added to the draw to win this please leave me a comment and the winner will be announced on Sunday's blog post

You have until 6pm Saturday to comment
