I'm using double sided paper for this gift bag and scored it on the outside so that it would show better on the inside for you
Score at: 4" 53/4" 93/4" and 111/2"
Turn paper a quarter turn and score at: 13/4" and 9"
On the narrowest side, see above picture, on the right, remove the bottom rectangle
Then cut to the first score line on the 3 rectangles at the bottom, as shown above
Turn paper over to the right side and add double sided tape to the narrowest edge, as shown on the left side above
Turn over paper again to add double side tape to one of the largest oblongs at the bottom, as shown above
Remove the backing from the narrowest edge and adhere to the opposite side
The remove the backing from the bottom piece of paper, fold over the longest piece first, then the 2 two and, finally, the remaining piece with the double side tape on it and press firmly
If you hold the gift bag with both hands and press in the top section you will achieve the above look
You can either adhere ribbon to the back, leaving enough length to tie a bow at the front, as shown on the teal bag, or punch two holes right through, and slot the ribbon through
The choice is now yours how you would like to decorate the front
The finished measurement is: 10" h, 4" w and a tad over 11/2" deep
I hope you will try this
