THROWBACK THURSDAY - Monday 4 September 2017

Good morning crafting friends

Today's 'throwback' is a monochromatic card I made when I was a DT member with Crafty Cardmakers Blog (it also shows my original blog address.... I miss 'blogspot' lol) .  An all white card is one of my all time favourites

It is a 5" square, top folding white card base

I cut a smaller panel to a 4" square and embossed it using the Dotted Matrix folder.  Mounting foam was added to the back and adhered to the card

A 3" square panel was then cut and embossed using the Delightful Daisies embossing folder, mounting foam added and a pearl heart to the centre of the daisy and adhered to the card

I am going to make another card but round the corners as I think it would give it a softer look.

AND HERE IT IS:

Same size, rounded corners (scalloped edge base card) and embossing folders but I had to use a white pearl gem in the middle of the flower as I have used all the pearl hearts

I used the delightful daisies embossing folder, by Spellbinders, to emboss the paper insert and placed it to show the large daisy and the plain piece where I stamped the insert

I like how there is enough plain paper at the bottom to write your message and I am sending this to one of my best friends who is currently going through a lot of health issues

On a personal note now, tomorrow I'm having an endoscopy and a colonoscopy, nothing like being violated top to bottom, no pun intended haha

I shall gird up my loins and think of Britain....

INGREDIENTS:
  • white card stock ~ Papermill Direct
  • Dotted Matrix Embossing Folder ~ Sue Wilson/Creative Expressions
  • Delightful Daisies Embossing Folder ~ Spellbinders
  • Platinum Machine ~ Spellbinders
  • pearl heart ~ my stash

Thank you for taking the time to visit, I hope my designs have given a little inspiration.
