Good morning crafty friends

I have kept today's card for approximately two years because when I saw it I knew I had to upcycle it.  One of my nieces sent it to us.... do you think she'd remember if I sent it back to her ;)

In the 'flesh' it is so beautiful and has exceptionally fine lines/threads of gold going across the card

Now had I tried to get that look of flash of brightness, that's showing across the middle of the card, I would not have succeeded!  I've no idea how it happened but I think it looks wonderful

I removed the card front and added it to a slightly larger panel of gold mirri and then onto an ivory 8"square card base

I will decorate the inside when I know to whom I'm sending it to

This week's freebie is a 'bubbles' stencil by Dutch Doobadoo.  If you would like your name added to the draw please leave me a comment on this post.  The winner will be announced on Sunday's post

You have until 6pm Saturday to comment

I hope you all have a good weekend and the weather stays kind for you should you be planning  anything involving the outdoors!

June x
