WHEN A CARD GOES TERRIBLY WRONG AND YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO FIX IT! PLUS CARD WINNER

Good morning crafting friends

This is my second ridiculously long title on this blog!

So, I made most of the card, very happy with skates, bell, pompoms and hearts then it went "terribly wrong"

I was going out last night and didn't have enough time to redo another card, but the bonus is that I enjoyed the night lol

Once I adhered the skates onto the card I spied a black mark where the crystal heart is on the top skate.  By the time I managed to remove it I had to cover the damage, hence the crystal hearts

The jagged piece of card at the bottom.... well, let's try to ignore that!

The fussy cut sentiment.... again, let's ignore that too

Suffice to say we all make mistakes and this is a whopper for me haha

BUT THEN....

hubby took this photo

The silver shows as a true colour and the card looks a lot better.... onwards and upwards June

  2. Oh, I just hate it when I finish a card and then make a mark on it that can't be removed. However, your little crystal hearts are a great save. And the jagged glitter shape down at the bottom looks just like snow and ice...so perfect!

    1. It's an unbranded die Littlelamb and I knew you'd like it because of your granddaughter, which is why I've started die cutting a small bundle for you. I'll get them in the post asap

  8. I don't think they were mistakes at all June... I'd call them happy accidents! The little crystals hearts are a lovely addition to the skates, and the sparkly piece of torn paper at the bottom of the card looks just like fluffy snow. The skates are fabulous, the silver is amazingly shiny when it catches the light. Beautiful!
    Cheers,
