Good morning all I've been unable to craft for a few days as I 'stumbled' and broke several nails to the point the nail bed...
Congrats June.
ReplyDeleteYou were able to solve the 'problem' and the end result is a beautiful, shiny card!
Enjoy your weekend.

Oh, I just hate it when I finish a card and then make a mark on it that can't be removed. However, your little crystal hearts are a great save. And the jagged glitter shape down at the bottom looks just like snow and ice...so perfect!
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating when that happens!! Lets be fair - we have all done it!!! You have made a great save here - am loving the silver skates!
ReplyDeleteHi June this is a stunning card. I love those skates. Well saved. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteThanks June for the lovely stencil received today - it will be well used as I love stencils. Thank you too for sharing this card - love the story with it as it mirrors projects I have started that go wrong part way through !!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great anyway June, we always find a way to cover a mistake, at least I do, xxx
ReplyDeleteA lovely card June. I love it and also would my granddaughter. She loves her iceskating. Can I ask, please, whose die it is. Would love to get it. I do have a couple but not that one. Congratulations to Jane R.
ReplyDeleteIt's an unbranded die Littlelamb and I knew you'd like it because of your granddaughter, which is why I've started die cutting a small bundle for you. I'll get them in the post asap

I don't think they were mistakes at all June... I'd call them happy accidents! The little crystals hearts are a lovely addition to the skates, and the sparkly piece of torn paper at the bottom of the card looks just like fluffy snow. The skates are fabulous, the silver is amazingly shiny when it catches the light. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Beccy
beautiful card June and congrats to the card winner
