GIFT BAGS

Good morning crafting friends

I have been waiting for a paid item from CraftStash, but to date, it's still out of stock and this is at least 2 months, no problem though.  So when I saw that today's particular die set, by Simply Made Crafts (Helen Griffin), was drastically reduced I asked if I could have that instead of the original order.  It arrived last week

I've just made 2 basic gift bags, I will add stars and a 'Merry Christmas' onto the front of the red one but not yet decided what to do with the other one

I have always admired Helen's work and her tutorials are very good, but, this die set has nearly had me tearing my hair out, and I can't afford to lose any more hair!

The red bag is made from cardstock and was a tad awkward putting it together. Of course that may just be me with arthritic hands.  I decided to use paper for the pink and silver one and it was a little easier

The two 'bumpy' marks towards the bottom of the bags are created with the die.  They measure approximately 7"x8" (18.1x20.7cm) so are a good size.  I will make more and see if I 'warm' to this die set but at the moment I couldn't recommend this item

If you do happen to own this set please let me know your views

  8. Camping used to be about bulky sleeping bags. Other times, when you are really lucky, you do not have any sleeping bags to sleep on at all because you ended up carrying heaps of other things and sleeping bags are just not a priority (thinking that you can just find a nice person to share with). lequeen diaper bags
