GIFT BAGS

Good morning crafting friends

I have been waiting for a paid item from CraftStash, but to date, it's still out of stock and this is at least 2 months, no problem though.  So when I saw that today's particular die set, by Simply Made Crafts (Helen Griffin), was drastically reduced I asked if I could have that instead of the original order.  It arrived last week

I've just made 2 basic gift bags, I will add stars and a 'Merry Christmas' onto the front of the red one but not yet decided what to do with the other one

I have always admired Helen's work and her tutorials are very good, but, this die set has nearly had me tearing my hair out, and I can't afford to lose any more hair!

The red bag is made from cardstock and was a tad awkward putting it together. Of course that may just be me with arthritic hands.  I decided to use paper for the pink and silver one and it was a little easier

The two 'bumpy' marks towards the bottom of the bags are created with the die.  They measure approximately 7"x8" (18.1x20.7cm) so are a good size.  I will make more and see if I 'warm' to this die set but at the moment I couldn't recommend this item

If you do happen to own this set please let me know your views
