Good morning crafty friends
I ordered this die set about a month or so ago and it arrived last week. It's a nephew's birthday this week so a good time to use it
The die set comes in 3 pieces, 2 clock pointers and then the remainder of the large die. In the 'flesh' the card does look very much nicer than the photo depicts, but you know I have an ongoing battle with photographing mirri card lol
Back home again and decided to take one more photo of today's card, in a different light.... what do you think?
New photo!
Much better compared to the one below!
I used an A5 black card base with a smaller panel of silver mirri and finally a smaller panel of black card. I die cut the cogs/clock face once only and secured it onto the two top panels with adhesive and a small brad that I used for the clock pointers. These were then adhered to the card base and I used several of the cog's centres as embellishments
I did think I had a small 'Happy Birthday' die but a quick look proved not to be. A freebie magazine stamp was then used to emboss the sentiment
I'm seeing my rheumatology professor this morning and, hopefully, she will reinstate Methotrexate, I'll keep you informed
INGREDIENTS:
- black cardstock and silver mirri - my stash
- clock/cog die set - unbranded
- sentiment - magazine freebie
- brad Hobby House
- embossing powder - WOW/Metallic Silver

Hi June this is a stunning card. I love it. Those cogs are amazing. I did use cogs on my son-in-laws card they worked with the image I used. Take care. Hugs Jackie

Brilliant June. I usually make Male cards with cogs on. I did make a 10x8 picture with a clock and cogs on and had it at a craft fair. It sold before the fair opened. Hope you are put back on the tablets. Stitches out tomorrow.

DeleteWOW, wonderful it sold before the fair opened!
