BEST WISHES & FRIDAY FREEBIE

Good morning crafty friends

I've waited such a long time to get the die I'm using on today's card.  It's unbranded, from China and my original order went astray but the company actually sent the replacement die by airmail

So after this wait to receive it I can say that "the die is a beast to cut!"  I ended up running it through the die cutting machine 6 times and then embossed it to ensure all the bits came out!

I didn't use the outer cutting dies but will do when I make another card with this particular die and see how that turns out

The sequin on the right is pink!

This week I have a Tonic stencil as the 'Friday Freebie'

  2. The die is so decorative June - little else needed to finish the card! I can imagine your cutting night mare - guess it was trial & error and countless shims!!! Success prevailed!!

  6. Lovely card Jan, like the stencil but will not buy dies from China, have a policy to support artists. Their companies are not the original makers. Overall nice card.x

  7. Lovely card June. Shame it was so difficult to cut the die. I do agree with aussie aNNie. Love the stencil. Have been using mine stencils a lot lately for backgrounds. Have a good weekend.

  10. Hi June,
your card is marvelous. Waiting for it, was worth is! I know that the quality in China isn't as good as the original brands. Most of the dies are fake (is this the right word?) I hope you understand...
    Have a good weekend.

  11. I can see why that die was so hard to cut because it's really delicate and intricate but I'm glad you persevered because your card is gorgeous!
